So Ottawa came out yapping its mouth off warning Ebay businesses and other online sellers that they better be paying their taxes. It isn’t easy keeping track of a web businesses dealings so easily and I imagine there are a lot of people getting away with a lot. Looks like they got all the data they need from Ebay to start auditing at he end of the Summer, so you best be ready for next years taxes.

In a September 2007 decision, the Federal Court of Canada ordered eBay Canada Inc. to provide the Canada Revenue Agency with the names of its high-volume sellers, their contact information and their sales records.

So don’t be surprised if you get contacted by them asking you about your Ebay ventures and how your taxes went. I imagine after a while the hype will be forgotten and business will go back to normal. According to Revenue Canada they’re targetting people who applied for the power selling program.

bad-credit-loan1

People with bad credit have a hard time getting a loan, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end for you. So what is a bad credit loan? Well now, did you even have to ask? A bad credit loan is for anyone with a low credit score who needs a loan for a legit reason such as needing a car for work. The hard part is actually finding the right bank or company to give you a loan with bad credit, so hopefully I can help you get to that point.

Who Will Give You A Loan With Bad Credit?

Even though getting a loan with bad credit is going to be a hard thing to do, it won’t be impossible. The big banks are certainly worth sitting down with and hearing out your options, but if that fails you’re still not done for. You can get in touch with a sub-prime lender which is your best bet for getting that loan. There are of course a few catches such as you’ll be paying a higher interest rate than people with good credit. You’ll also get a lower loan amount than someone with bad credit, but overall those two should be expected.

2 Types Of Bad Credit Loans

1) A Secured bad credit loan is a loan given to the client with bad credit, which is then secured by an asset owned by the borrower. If you own a house and apply for a loan with bad credit, then you can get a bad credit loan and use your house as a loan collateral. You can also get a secured credit card, which will be secured by a cash only deposit to back your purchases.

2) An unsecured bad credit loan is the second type but your chances to get an unsecured loan with bad credit are very slim. A bad credit borrower who doesn’t have a collateral represents a great risk for the lender, hence the difficulty in obtaining a loan with a bad credit in this case.

The great thing about finally getting that loan is that you’re on your way to repairing your credit. It will take some time, but securing your future is one of the most important things you can do in life. If you have any comments or questions feel free to leave them in the comments, and I will do my best to answer them.

So here are a few talking heads discussing why our economy and banking system help up much stronger than most. I know this will either sit well or make some turn their heads, but regardless I’d like to hear your thoughts about what’s talked about in the video.

ei-canada

Well I could have told you this myself from the amount of people I know of who are currently on EI. I’m not sure how much the recession plays a role in this because they’re not actively looking for a job. Come to think of it, how many people do you know want to get off of EI when they’re on it?

Since employment peaked in October 2008, the number of regular EI beneficiaries has risen by 278,300, or 55.6 per cent, with increases in all provinces and territories. The month of April alone showed an increase in 9.2% which comes out to around 97,000 people…wowza.
