Wake up people! We give banks FREE money. Get a safe and a gun and protect it yourself. Wouldnt it be nice if everyone gave you their money. If we take our money out of the banks we can bring them to their knees. Banks are not our friends. They are blood sucking vampires.

Bailouts sounded good, but it could lead to an increase in the problem later on, I’m glad Canada didn’t really bite that bullet.

Canada has a constitution too, and a charter of rights and freedoms, with an amending formula that does NOT involve the Queen. You want to talk about slavery? IF Canadians are slaves to anything it is their own complacency, only half of our population even bothers to vote, and a minute portion of that group have the requisite knowledge to actually vote intelligently. The only thing manipulating us is our own ignorance and apathy.

Not nearly as broke as you guys, think about what the states will do when everybody figures out the fraud your pulling off- and they stop lending you money- your going to be a Wiemar republic and have to raise your interest rates to to attract lenders/investors that will put further strains on your economy as businesses will have NO money to pay for anything

A Calgary shelter is scanning the fingerprints of its homeless clients, citing problems with gang members and drug dealers sneaking into the facility.Dermot Baldwin, head of the Calgary Drop-In Centre, said people who have been barred from the shelter use fake identification to get in. The homeless shelter is testing a new $150,000 security system that scans clients fingerprints,and Baldwin said he expects it will be fully up and running in a few weeks.The system is not a violation of privacy,

Your completely correct Steve. Not all Canadians are asleep to what is really going on. England certainly has had Canada by the balls for …I am not sure how long….lol..but a long time..Financially and obviously with the Laws and Court system.

We are not slaves, in fact we have very entrenched rights and freedoms. In fact OUR constitution made same sex marriage legal NATIONWIDE in 2005, how about in the US?
Does Canada have a stock market? YES it’s called the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

“Canadian is own by the Queen of England”…she doesn’t own us, she is a figurehead head of state represented by the Governor-General. ‘Queen’s bankers’? Uhhh No. Canadian banks are owned by Canadians, and their board of directors are all Canadians. There is no such thing as queen’s bankers.
No constitution? Obviously you have never learned anything about Canada. Look up our Bill of Rights or the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (of course not all our constitution is written down though)
