There may be a jumbo product in the area you live. FHA in Minnesota currently caps out at 365K, but other areas of the country have higher FHA limits that are in the Jumbo range, for example Hawaii. I would check with an FHA broker in your area and see if they have an outlet for 203K. If they don’t on the wholesale basis, they will know who is doing the loan on the retail side. Not all brokers have access to an outlet, so if you get a “no”, I would continue my search.
