I KNOW THAT THE FED IS PRIVATE…. I NEVER SAID THAT IT WAS THE GOVERNMENT!!! CANT YOU READ!!!????!…. I said, in the US… The CENTRAL BANK has control of the money supply… The Central Bank of the US is the Federal Bank…. my question was about the CANADIAN GOVERNMENT

cobracarg, good luck with your education in economics! Be wary:)

Your comment suggests that u think the US govt has 100% ownership/control of US money supply. This is completely false, hence my comment. Is this what u are taught in college economics? Do they teach u that the Fed Reserve is merely a front for an elite banking cartel?
The same banking cartel now controls the issue of currency in nearly every country in the world except a few in the Middle East … see a pattern here?
What are the consequences when a country forfiets control of its currency?

Too answer your question the 5% that supposedly comes from the government, comes from the Bank of Canada, the other 95% is lent out by out chartered banks. Canada runs under the fractional reserve banking system, which is why bank always can lend out more money then what is actually in circulation, money essentially is nothing…also you might find it interesting , that canada subsidizes it’s chartered banks, by the tune of billions every year…..makes alot of sense??…

i know that… i take college economics…. my question is about the canadian banking system, not the us….

Great video! Your efforts in trying to wake up our dumbed down ignorant society are very much needed and greatly appreciated. Keep it up!
Prime Ministers, MPs, etc … our highest ranking govt officials having no clue and not being able to simply explain the truth about this thieving scam is disgraceful. They should be ashamed … deeply ashamed. It’s no wonder hundreds of million$ disappeared on the Liberal’s Paul Martin’s watch:( Better yet, Martin was also Canada’s Finance Minister! Wow:(

The US Federal Reserve is a Private Bank owned by a foreign banking cartel. It’s been this way in the US since 1913.
The US Treasury has no control over this foreign owned so-called “Federal” Reserve … in fact it’s never even been audited by anyone outside this cartel. Scary eh!
We’ve all been duped and deceived by these thieving banksters … it’s called perpetual debt … or better yet, slavery.
JFK tried to change this in the US to take back control and we all know what happened to him.

You lack in reading skills.. i said that the quote
“100% of the money is created by the central bank, The Federal Reserve… ”
money is supposedly backed by gold… so i dont know where you got that idea from. Most countries really on a Fractional Banking System

This video is fail.

If you *really* read through my comments, you would have read that I said money is *supposedly* backed by gold.
Your comment *clearly* suggest the US makes 100 percent of the money because you compare it to Canada. Furthermore, you did *not* indicate your knowledge that the Federal Reserve is not associated with the federal government.
You lack in writing skills, perhaps taking some lessons will improve that, but maybe not.

I already know that…you just repeated what i was saying…. I’ve read through your comments too and you dont know what you are talking about becasue the money isnt backed by gold….

The The Federal Reserve is a privately owned institution, thus the US government has zero percent of the control of the money making process.
Money is ‘owned’ by the individual, not the government or the bank. The bank makes it, not the government.

Im American and in the US, 100% of the money is created by the central bank, The Federal Reserve…
But in Canada, only 95% is from the banks and 5% is from the Government? So the Government in Canada have a small ownership of the money supply?
December 7th, 2009 at 10:19 am
umm the American dollar hasnt been backed by gold in like 70 years…

December 7th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Did you even watch the video? There is NO gold backing the dollar up! They don’t just print it anytime, they do it slowly over time. Hamburgers will be $500. Given time.

Recently, about a couple months ago, there was a huge article on AOL that China was demanding the USA to transport its gold held in the US.
In late April, a Chinese sovereign wealth fund, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, announced that China had purchased 454 metric tons of gold over the past six years.
China now has the fifth largest official gold reserve, 1,054 metric tons.
That a lot of gold to back all the currency they have. Same for USA.

money hasn’t been back by gold since the second world war. it is not created by the federal government. it is created by the bank of canada something completely separate from the government. this video is incorrect in many of its most basic ideas. our money has value because we believe it has a value and this system works
